How many branches does UBC has in Cameroon?
Union Bank Of Cameroon Plc is a Commercial Bank that was licensed by the monetary authority in 1999 to carry out the business of a commercial bank. UBCs 11 branches cover five regions in Cameroon, with 4 in Douala, 2 in Yaounde and 1 each in Limbe, Kumba, Kumbo, Bafoussam; its registered head office is in Bamenda.

How do i reactivate a dormant account?
To reactivate a dormant account, you just need to do a deposit into the account
How do i request a new check book?
To ask for a new check book, write a request to UBC and deposit at the Customer Service Assistant of any UBC’s branch.
Can i update my account details from any branch?
Yes. Account update requests can be made at any of our branches.
How can I check my account balance?
To check your account balance you have two options. The first is to login on our online banking platform if you have one. The second will be to head to the nearest UBC’s branch around your area and request for your account balance.
How do I open a salary account?
To open a salary account, just head to the nearest UBC’s branch around your area with:
- Photocopy of Valid National ID card/passport/Temporal ID card
- Two 4*4 size photos
- Unique identification number
- Detailed and precised residence sketch map for localization
- Copy of utility bill (ENEO, CAMWATER, CAMTEL, dated within 3 months) or any proof of residence
- Justification of revenue (pay slip, debt clearance certificate, tax returns, receipt of purchase of goods etc) dated within 3 months
- Minimum initial deposit 0 FCFA
For non-residents
- Valid identity documents (passport, residence permit)
- Administrative documents proving their foreign address
- Location plan + statement of honor.
How do i open a corporate account?
To open a corporate account, just head to the nearest UBC’s branch around your area with:
- Account opening request on the letter head paper
- Notarized articles and memorandum of association(Ltd & Plc)
- Certificate of incorporation
- Unique identification number
- Valid debt clearance certification from the competent tax authorities
- Attestation of localization and sketch map from competent tax authorities
- Decree appointing General Manager for parastatals
- Accreditation or license for companies engaged in an activity subject to such formality
- Photocopy of National Identity Cards of Authorized signatory
- Minimum deposit: 200 000 FCFA
